Ding Dong the Pumpkin's Dead

Photobucket
OK - we survived Halloween! Hallelujah. I just can't like Halloween. I try, for the sake of my kiddos, I try. You see, Halloween in Alaska is an EXPERIENCE. First, you must consider the weather (this year Mother Nature graced our little trick 'r treaters with GAIL FORCE WINDS - literally had to hold masks down or they would fly off). Then one must consider how they are going to convince their little tot that the ninja costume is every bit as fierce with layers upon layers of fleece long underwear bulging out of it. AND the topper - the "sprinkles on my cupcake" as my friend Shannon would say, is when this same little tot who's bursting at the seams in The Impenetrable Ninja Suite tells you, in the gail force winds, that they have to pee. Yay Halloween!

  2. I struggle with Halloween too! But the kiddos love it so much. Of course, it's a whole different experience in Las Vegas, but I remember trying to make your costume work on top of the layers and layers of clothes. My kids don't know how good they have it!

  3. HA HA. You crack me up Tash. I never liked Halloween growing up in Alaska because most times you had to shuffle through snow in your costume "shoes" and by the time you got to the 5th house your hands were so frozen you could hardly hold onto your candy bag. But I love it now that I live in Oregon.

When the "I have to pee" I bet you thought of telling him to just go! but that is totally halarious. Love you
